About The Event

Did you know that fermented foods are full of healthy probiotics that promote gut health and improve digestion? Homemade fermented foods, like pickles, have an even greater positive effect than their store-bought counterparts. Join us Saturday June 27th from 12:00pm-2:30pm for this hands-on cooking class in the Marion County Extension demonstration kitchens and learn how to make your own fermented pickles and experience the benefits yourself! Participants will also get their own fermenting jar to take home.
